Just about coming to the end of a very chilled two week holiday in Andalusia back to the villa in La Joya. I love it here and written before that I think it’s my spiritual home. It’s so peaceful and relaxing – simply heaven.

I’ve spent my whole time sleeping, reading, sunbathing and eating (lots) so basically all my favourite things and other than a trip to Ronda (stunning) and Malaga (I HAD to go shopping), Chad and I have done next to nothing.

The weather has been glorious all the way through although today it was like Australia and poured with rain! The villa is at a high altitude in the El Torcal mountains and we were literally wrapped in cloud. Then the most amazing thunderstorm kicked off which we were IN. The thunder was so loud and the forks of lightening were literally appearing 20 metres in front of us. Amazing and I was perfectly safe in my rubber-soled Birkenstocks!

One more full day of holiday left and then back to Blighty where my head will be physically and metaphorically out of the clouds.
